Serendipity
Serendipity is one of the magical words. Like Mary Poppin's supercalafragalisticexpialadoshus, it just makes me smile.
During this Age of the New Normal, I think serendipity is as defined "development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way".
I think of so many things that have just happened that make the next thing happen and the next thing. Staying open to something new....serendipity.
My sister, my baby sister, Norine had an emergency heart issue last Saturday while exercising. I told her exercising could kill her. She spent Saturday in the hospital being tested. She is absolutely fine and she came to stay with us a few days in what she called Chez Mary's.
Serendipity.
I got to spend some quality time with her. It's been too long. (YEAH)
Issues about her housing have made moving into a new place happen much quicker than planned. She'll be by the lake (YEAH)
Her daughter is coming home from Philly this weekend, it's been a couple of years since she's been in Madison (YEAH).
What looked so bleak on Saturday, turned serendipitous during the course of the next few days.
I keep hoping that's true for all of us during this 2020 life we're leading. That what looks dark is really light. What looks like the end is only the beginning.
I keep hoping to sing from the treetops Supercalafragalisticexpialadoshus. Ready to sing with me?
What have been serendipitious moments for you these days? Have you been seeing light and beginnings? darkness and endings?
Hugs. Be Safe. You Matter
