So tiny and yet so sweet -- your dreams!
Updated: Jul 19, 2020
Did you see it? Oh, there it is.
I love spotting hummingbirds, don't you? They flit and fly and move so quickly you barely know they were there.
Hummingbirds are the tiniest of birds. Their weight could be compared to a nickel. And yet they migrate alone over 500 miles.
Hummingbirds remind me of my dreams sometimes, I get an idea, a great idea. One of those ideas that come while driving or in the shower. And then, poof! It's gone.
Hummingbirds remind me that I need to make my dreams sweet. I need to collect ideas and thoughts and feelings in building my dreams. I need to read, to talk with folks, to listen, and like the different flowers each gives my dream sweet nectar.
Hummingbirds don't smell flowers they look for color. Isn't that amazing. I need to look at my dreams like that. How can I color my world with my dreams? Can I make the world a peaceful blue, calming an angry place? Can I make the world a beautiful purple of serenity during these times? Can I make my dreams red with vibrancy and challenge? What colors will my dreams share today?
Hummingbirds are the only bird to fly backward. That's an idea I always believe, to look back to capture the thought that I might make real today.
Hummingbirds fly upside down. New perspectives always help when creating dreams.
Well, I'm off to flit and fly and try to capture my dreams.
How about you? What are you scooting off to see today?

Hugs. Be Safe. You Matter.
